One of my favorite living filmmakers. An actual movie without the traditional Miike craziness?!!!...Maker of: Ichi: The Killer, Izo, Dead or Alive, Audition, and many others. Very Buddhist, very Japanese.
A lot of urban Japanese, glam punk, and fist fights. Good to see Miike getting his due. He really needs to distance himself from Tarantino and latchers oners.
