Absolutely one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. RT calls it "curiously dispassionate" but I couldn't disagree more. Having read a great deal about Darwin, Bettany's performance of him is haunting in its accuracy.
I honestly believed that I was seeing, for the first and only time, Darwin in the flesh.
