There's a reason this movie was so popular. Its the movie industry trying to capitalize on the H1N1 epidemic that happened not too long before production and release of this movie. It's not until the end of the movie that we see why Contagion happens but its a real wake up call on how we can really get sick and why washing your hands is very important!
