Review of Constantine (2005) by Teresa G — 01 May 2012
I usally don't like movies like this. They're silly and dumb. This one, though, is amazing. Also, it seems the the reviewers (like Ebert) get really hung up on the backstory (how God is playing a game with Satan and doesn't really care about humanity).
The story has excellent pacing. The acting is excellent, and has a bunch of really good actors in relatively minor roles. The cinematography is excellent--I really liked the camera perspective and composition of a lot of scenes.
I bought this on DVD just to support the film maker.
