Review of Compliance (2012) by Philip J — 30 Mar 2013
This accurately depicts what happened at Mount Washington McDonalds in Kentucky, although for the movie names are changed to stop the law suits. (One suspects) This is a must see for all who work in the fast food industry so that they are better prepared to hang up that phone, should there ever be a repeat of these calls that plagued the US for 10 years prior to 2004.
As to the film it self, while there is some partial nudity, it is unavoidable but brief. The other parts that were more extreme, were filmed in cutaway so it was not as graphic as it could be without detracting from the horror of what is going down, including the final acts of degradation filmed in cutaway.
Some say this film is disturbing, what is more disturbing was that none of the events portrayed in the film were exaggerated and they were all true.
