Review of Comanche Station (1960) by Ben S — 26 May 2017
Randolph Scott is a frontiersman who trades cloth and a rifle for a woman kidnapped by the Commanche. Her husband has offered a large reward that attracts three drifters to their company. Another stripped-down western from the Ranown cycle.
This film is all about the various character's choices, with the wrong ones punished severely. The beauty of it is you can see which decisions are coming, good or bad, and fully understand why they were made.
