Review of Color Me Blood Red (1965) by Amanda W — 22 Apr 2007
Herschell Gordon Lewis movies are starting to grow on me a bit because they are so incredibly bad (if Herschell wasn't having a hard enough time w/ inaudible dialogue he decides to set the better part of this one @ the beach; often in the water w/ splashing, paddle bikes & a motor boat); early campy cheap bloody exploits that enjoyment will depend on your tolerance of z- grade production & probably your state of mind.
.3rd 'best' in G.Lewis's blood trilogy.
