Review of Coco Chanel (2008) by Joe D — 24 Oct 2008

I absolutely loved this movie! I felt that it was an accurate portrayal, however, I was disappointed that it only covered a minor portion of her life. She led such an interesting and full life, and was friends with so many important and fascinating people, not to mention all of the innovations that she came up with that changed the world of fashion, that I would have liked for them to have explored her life more in depth.

I guess that would have been hard to capture in a 3 hour movie though...perhaps her life would be better suited for a miniseries...
