Review of Clownhouse (1990) by Grayson W — 17 Jul 2014

A solid bit of late-80s clown horror, Clownhouse follows a group of three teenage boys, one of whom suffers from a debilitating fear of clowns, as they house is attacked by three psychotic clowns. The films takes on another level of creepiness when you find out that the director was actually convicted and imprisoned for molesting one of the actors, which makes a lot of the scenes with the young boys in their underwear seem creepy as well.
