It?s wicked, dark and utterly funny! Joaquin Phoenix and Vince Vaughn do marvellous acting jobs. There is a bit of confusion going on about the title and why it?s called that. Now I?ve never the an official statement from the director, but my take on it is that clay pigeons are the things that are used for fire practice, and that is pretty much what happens to the main character, Clay, in the movie as well.
He?s getting fired at from all directions. And that?s very funny!
