Review of Chain Letter (2010) by Phil N — 10 Apr 2011
Fella receives a message on t'internet; if he doesn't forward it on to five other people, he dies. And so begins the chain letter... Taking a similar idea to Ring but ditching the supernatural for a serial killer makes this slasher pic a little too absurd to take seriously.
Feeling like a throwback to the late nineties post-Scream copies, it still offers some inventive kills for the hungry gorehound to enjoy, and it's good to see genre stalwarts Brad Dourif and Keith David still in employment.
