Review of Catch-22 (1970) by Indira S — 30 Mar 2014
The film begs us to ask the question, what is insanity during times of war. Questions are repeated throughout and absurdity grows with the horrors around our lead. Like a fever dream we are cast into semblance of reality, by way of MASH, that becomes an inescapable nightmare similar to THE PRISONER.
This is BRAZIL during WWII and I was blown away and swept into its insanity.
