One of the most awful movies I've seen in a long time - not the acting (which was superb), but the thematic material - truth is stranger than fiction as the story of Dora Carrington shows. At the begging the characters are fixated with Dora's virginity which she subsequently loses due to the influence of a homosexual man whom she is in love with.
..but she loses it (and continues to "lose" it) with other men who love other men and other women...all rather too decadent for my virgin eyes...sigh...what a waste of good talent and time...
