A simple genre exercise with a few flourishes. It never becomes all that engaging and at times seems to be actively trying to lose the audience's interest. Random subplots that go nowhere, a long drawn out finale that could have been visually compelling if it had been even remotely intelligible or meaningful.

I'm not getting this Mickey Keating guy. He does one or two things in a pretty neatly unique way and then the rest is just an absolute mess.
