Review of Carnage (2011) by Gloria W — 26 Jan 2014
Absolutely fantastic movie. It basically plays only in the living room of a married couple, whose son had an altercation with another boy at school. While the four parents are trying to work things out like grown-ups, tension builds up, causing everyone to drop the pretty facade and prying the closet doors wide open, the skeletons there for everyone to see.
Meanwhile, the kids prove to be the grown-ups, having it all but solved and buried for good, while their parents are completely coming apart during their insane discussion-turned-battle. This hysterically funny movie gives us a deep insight into the human ego and our weird society. Every second worth watching.
