Review of Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) by Jeremy R — 25 Jul 2010
Being an unashamed Michael Moore fan, it's easy for me to love this film. Personally I think he's probably the bravest and most vital documentarian of the past twenty years and his latest film, Capitalism: A Love Story, proves that without a doubt.
It's easy to see why he's so hated in many circles, and yes, he does tend to exaggerate and claw straight for the heartstrings in many ways, but there's no denying that, whatever his method, he gets his point across loud and clear and makes a far better and more convincing one than any of his haters could ever do.
I really feel like this man is trying to make the world a better place and, for that, he'll always be a hero of mine. If only the world had more Micheal Moores, than maybe we'd stop bitching about trivial bullshit and focus on what's really wrong with our world.
