Review of Camille Claudel 1915 (2013) by Leena L — 21 Sep 2013
It is amazing what a single stare can deliver. A twitch in the eye, a smirk, a tear. Juliette Binoche is simply brilliant. Enhanced by the fact that the asylum patients are actually modern day asylum patients, if you can use the term.
Depressing, yet somehow soothing, how a mind can find peace in small things, such as nature and a kind gesture. Yet.... horrifying what people have to endure in times and places.
