Review of California Dreamin' (2007) by Lupus D — 23 Nov 2007
A wise combination of drama and humour, justice and injustice (seen from every angle) along with perfect selection of characters, depicting every aspect of life. The attempt of the chief of the railway station to prevent the NATO train to pass his village because of missing documents, the opposition of the local population against the chief of the railway for other reasons, the arrogance and final betrayal of the american soldiers towards the people who accepted and welcome them as friends. A brilliant movie from a director who left this world too young...
