Review of Caché (2005) by Nathan C — 13 Dec 2009
Haneke brilliantly explores the hidden depths of guilt on both a personal and social level. Lots of films do explore that subject but they tend to beat you over the head with it or try to be overly sentimental, niether is the case with "Cache".
If you don't pay attention, you'd think the film wasn't about anything. He asks the audience really tough questions that they may not have the answer to and that is more disturbing than anything else that could happen on screen.
