Review of Buzzard (2015) by Kyle G — 12 Nov 2014
In what I can only describe as Pure Michigan, Buzzard dives into wage slave depravity, millennial waywardness and angst with a strong vision from director Potrykus. I just wish the vision was occasional lit and on a better camera.
Guerrilla-style works for the themes the film is built on, but the audience' POV is intermittently out of focus at such an alarmingly rate that it makes its repulsive anti-hero (Joshua Burge) even harder to follow.
