Lush production with a suprisingly strong lead performance from Beatty. Bening looks glamouros through out, and there are surprising and even oscar-nominated supporting performances from Ben Kingsley and Harvey Keitel, though Elliot Gould is even better.
A well-crafted film by Barry Levinson.
