Review of Bruiser (2000) by Jacob D — 12 May 2011
This movie was not one of Romero's best pieces, but as a film by its self it delivered the theme fairly clearly; that is, to not let others push you around. it was centered around a clear metaphor, being that Henry, never sticking up for himself and being otherwise unremarkable, has no distinguishing features, or "face," which he can only regain after gaining revenge on those who have wronged him.
all in all, I found this a very entertaining and artistically inclined picture.
