Review of Brothers (2004) by Julie K — 28 Nov 2009

The American version of this movie is coming out soon, and I thought that looked so good that I rented this to see it sooner. Now I can compare later, and the remake has a lot to live up to. This Danish version is really good! It has a great story and it was a very tense family drama.

I was on the edge of my seat (or literally, the edge of my bed - don't worry, I didn't fall out!) watching it, waiting to see what happens next. The ending feels rather abrupt, it was not a story that is neatly tied up at the end.

I kinda went huh, that's it? You ended it there?! Curious to know if they'll repeat that in the American version, people here usually expect a resolution. Anyway, this is streaming on Netflix so if you have that you can watch it now.
