Review of Bronco Billy (1980) by Andrew B — 17 Jul 2011

This movie started out really well, the rodeo sequences were fun to watch. There were also some good laughs here and there.

However, there were a few issues: the whole subplot about the crooked lawyer and the evil step mother (cinderella, anyone?) trying to steal her inheritance away from her just didn't fit in well and sort of dragged the film out. Also, as much as I like Clint, that one scene after he convinced the man at the institution that he and ms. lily were a married couple, he immediately jumped on her to make out with her... it's a movie from 1980, so I guess it's going to be dated somewhat, but this just really put me off a bit.

Anyways, worth watching once.
