Absolutely loved it. Dakota Fanning is fantastic in an almost silent role. A story of revenge, religious extremism and brutal gut-wrenching violence. Guy Pierce does a chilling performance of a man just oozing evil.
Brilliant actor. Evry shot looks beautiful even gross violence. As a story it's not unique, but told out of order to keep a sense of mystery. The ending mars it of meaning, which is why it was disappointing as a movie, but in terms of flimmaking skill it' marvelous.
Recommended for quiet headphones-on movie watching of western, mystery thriller genre.
