Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Dylan C — 11 Jul 2010
This is why I watch movies. In the hopes of seeing a film as thought-provoking and original as this. In "Bowling For Columbine", Michael Moore sets out to find the reasons behind America's obsession with guns, why there are more gun deaths a year in America than anywhere else in the world, what are the reasons behind sociopathic behavior, and many others.
Michael Moore goes though a vast number of topics and questions, but never loses focus or control, and rather draws lines from each subject to the next. This movie is not only a brilliant piece of film making but also an intelligent film that asks many important questions.
This film is not easy to watch, due to it's graphic reality, but it's an important film to see and I recommend everyone watch this film.
