Review of Borstal Boy (2001) by Bob B — 21 Aug 2009
Somewhat dark, but moving true story of an IRA freedom fighter placed in juvenile detenion in WWII England. There Brendan Behan learned that "love is stronger than hate, and I had it both ways like Oscar Wilde.
" it is a very well done and moving film that is well worth seeing in spite of the often painful storyline.
