Review of Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw (1976) by Bill T — 11 Sep 2012
Plenty gritty 70's exploitation starring a pre-Wonder Woman Lynda Carter starring as an up-and-coming country singer who gets mixed up with the wrong kind of people and soon is on the run from the law.
Marjoe Gartner (who?!!??!\) plays her partner in crime. You can certainly taste the grime in this one, full of sex, violence and holes in the plot. I like how the film gleefully rips off a lot of other movies too.
But this was a fun watch, and would be reccomended for people seeking a 70's exploitation movie that's out of the norm.
