Review of Blue Sky (1994) by Jeff B — 17 Nov 2008
Very good film starring Tommy Lee Jones and Jessica Lange (in her Oscar winning role). Set in the 60s, Lange is the over-energetic (and slightly emtionally unstable) wife of a military nuclear tester Jones.
She gives an excellent performance, not too over the top, but just enough when the scenes call for it. I didn't really care for the nuclear bomb side story, I would've been just fine if the whole film focused on the husband and wife relationship.
The children are pretty good and the other supporting cast do a nice job.
