Review of Blue Like Jazz (2012) by Leah M — 13 Apr 2012
In the faith-based film genre: groundbreaking. As a film at large: enjoyable. 'Blue Like Jazz' manages to poke fun at Christians and poke fun at Non-Christians just the same, creating an approachable and entertaining flick.
The characters are fairly well rounded, and never do we have an earthquake of Cheesy-ness that is typically leaves most faith films in shambles. It's a good laugh, some fun characters, and a bit of indie-film history.
