Review of Blood Into Wine (2010) by Carlox S — 13 Nov 2011

Although the story in itself is pretty interesting; the strong point of the film should be the subject matter (Maynard). Instead (at least for me), he comes off as annoying, arrogant and deceitful. That should be a recipe for an intriguing doc, but Maynard is either too self-aware, too non-chalant or is just a bad actor at even playing himself.

I give the movie 2.5 because of the Sedona backdrop and the grapes and the wine bottle looked pretty cool.
