Review of Blood Creek (2009) by Leslie L — 07 Feb 2010
I must admit I was intrigued by the premise of the film. Nazi fascination with the occult and supernatural is a neat subject to make a film about. Too bad it was cheesed up so much or it might have been a better film.
For example, the little things got to me here. One of the heroes (one of two brothers returning to fight to evil at the farm, also a paramedic) gets bitten by a ferocious farm dog early in one of the films opening action scenes. But have no fear! He reaches in his paramedic bag and just happened to have (preposterously) rabies vacinne which he quickly injects into his stomach. I was like ummm.. ok.
Don't pay for this one, wait for cable or something.
