This is an artsy vampire movie. The stark color contrasts and the lighting lend it an air of sophistication that the story just doesn't live up to. The story is a basic feud between two vampires, formerly lovers, and a thirst to be free of that cumbersome life.
A detective of cold cases gets caught in the middle. The blood effects are well done, and there is quite a bit of nudity - more than I've seen in many Asian movies. The acting is merely okay. Overall, it is an average movie.
