This is one of the greatest love stories I have seen on film. It is an underrated Gem. I personally it should be re released to theatres promoted as a new film, and people will come because Paul newmans in it! It will have better coverage, and a better D.V.D made. Earl K. Long was a brave man, being a progressive govenor in the south at that time. He he seems to be a genius using rascism of other people to advance african americans role in society.
