Review of Blankman (1994) by Carlos R — 16 Aug 2010
The movie is covered with cheese from top to bottom, and not all of it is intentional. Most of the shots and editing are ludicrously sub-par, shockingly far beneath the humorously incisive superhero score, and only two of the actors appear to be giving it their all.
In addition to this, in subsequent viewings, I've noticed that all the white people in the movie are either evil or die. I wonder if that was a mistake.
Nevertheless, despite my complaints, I enjoyed it when I first saw it and it makes an entertaining watch when flipping through channels, and as always, there's something to be said for that.
