Not a fan of the manga. the movie feels like a direct to dvd release productionwise. Story is simple and not much going on like in the manga which just seems to be slowly paced and jogs in place because the author while having a not so terribly original concept has no clue what to do with it aside from the usual revenge plot.
nothing new or inventive with the fight choreography none of the kills stand-out. you dont really get a sense of how dangerous the itto-ryu is. they come off as kinda lame here(they were also lame in the manga).
Its a rental.
