A amazing story set during the Lebanese civil war when an ex-diplomat gets called back in to diffuse a tense situation. With wonderful cinematography recreating the war-ravaged, early 80's Lebanese capital, a gripping yet rich story with a superb ensemble cast - Beirut is a bona-fide spy masterpiece.
