Review of Before the Rain (1994) by Lynda M — 26 Nov 2009
Manchevski's wonderful and compelling film made right during the serious troubles in the Yugoslav states conflict. If can be painful at times, where you can feel the bitterness and hatred so well portrayed by the truly passionate cast.
It is worth a little research about Albania and Bosnia before you watch the film, to really relate to the amount of pain these people had to live with.
