Review of Beautiful Lies (2010) by Josie F — 24 Jul 2011
I had to bump this up to 80%, because I just adore Audrey Tautou. The scenery is breathtaking at times; I find the reveal of the layers of personality as the film evolves intriguing and compelling. It was also enjoyable to see Nathalie Baye and Tautou on reunited on screen.
The French know quirky, which I find to be the most alluring characteristic of this film.
