Can't expect much from a TV movie in the 80s however with Bud Cort and using the plot surrounding the Psycho movies I expected something a little bit better. I've always been a big fan of the Psycho series of movies, practically grown up around watching the movies.
Psycho was the first horror I complete sat through as a kid. However if you are a fan of the series this movie is a detour which is worth a watch just to see the old hotel again and the surroundings if you can't afford to see it on the universal studios backlot.
