Review of Bataan (1943) by Anna N — 21 Oct 2007
Definitely not one of the best movies of all time but if you come across a chance to watch it, I recommend that you do. It was made in the 40s so the quality is a little primitive but the is very good in terms of what it was set out to do (it was commissioned to be a movie of a somewhat propaganda nature during World War II to show Americans on the homefront).
The acting is okay. It also features a young Desi Arnaz (pre - "I Love Lucy" days).
