"At two hours, it tests the stamina of even the most ardent action movie fan." It's a TV drama with some action, really. The finale is sweet ("And my axe[s]!"), but poorly directed.
"The acting is facial-expressions- visible-from- 100-feet overdone and the choppy editing makes for awkward storytelling." If you're looking for a Thai "Braveheart" or are curious about the fall of Ayutthaya, this story about a village that held out for 5 months might pique your interest.
