Review of Avalanche Express (1979) by Jahir H — 19 Dec 2014
Its obvious here that the death of director Mark Robson and co star Robert Shaw turned this interesting thriller into a bit of a botch job which makes little sense but does have some action to keep it interesting.
It also doesnt help that the train in parts is obviously a model and that somebody thought sports star Joe Naimath Could . act.
On the plus side you get two great hellraisers for the price of one in the shape of Lee Marvin and Robert Shaw and they are always good value even if the film isnt up to snuff.
Plenty of action then but one wonders what would have emegered if the films hadnt been so jinxed.
