Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Fabio E — 26 Apr 2011
Extremely faithful to the novel. The characters look like they should look. The aesthetics of the film honor Rand's own aesthetic romanticism. The actors obviously read the novel. In fact, the character portrayal and development is less like Rand's sometimes-cartoonish strawmen and more serious.
As a piece of philosophy, it is better than Rand. As a piece of fiction, it is on par with Rand.
