Review of Asterix & Obelix: God Save Britannia (2012) by Pedro B — 01 Nov 2012

Before watching the movie, I had a lot of fears. New studio, countless delays, only Depardieu reprised his role as Obelix, fourth in the live-action series, etc. Some of them had come true. However, it's better than what I was expecting.

Not a whole lot, but better. It has a lot of problems, the story is sometimes drawling, and has some unnecessary things (like mixing it with a different Asterix comic), but if you get over the first half hour, it will become enjoyable.

Still, it's nowhere near as good as the previous ones.
