Review of Assassination (2015) by Tomas F — 27 Mar 2016
During the Japanese occupation of Korea during WWII, a small group of agents from the Korean resistance conspire two assassinate a pair of public officials. The first hour of this film is fairly confusing.
There's a large number of key characters, many of whom have seemingly conflicting motives. I found it tough slogging. Once it got to the second half, however, all the characters had fallen into place and a series amazing action sequences kicked off.
I recommend sticking it out. This was an immensely rewarding flick.
