Review of Another Day in Paradise (1998) by Rich B — 25 May 2004
Another Day in Paradise (1998) ? Bobbie (Vincent Kartheiser), a teenage dropout who is happy to make ends meet by busting up vending machines, is lured into the drug business by his Uncle Mel (James Woods).
Bobby?s girlfriend (the drop-dead gorgeous Natasha Wagner) and Uncle Mel?s heroine addicted partner (Melanie Griffith) join the two men on their first ?business trip.? The twin ?Bonnie and Clyde?s? is interesting, but Bobbie barely escapes as things get pretty nasty in the end.
As the movie ended, I couldn?t help wondering what Bobbie would have done next. Settle down and get a job? Go back to boosting vending machines? Vincent is one of my favorites. He has a unique presence.
Plus, he?s easy to look at, that?s for sure!
