Review of Angels and Insects (1995) by Larry L — 14 Feb 2009
An excellent mixture of "Merchant/Ivory" period-style with a Darwin-like lead man who gets caught up in a world of victorian courting culture when he is appointed to help catalog and categorize a patron's vast collection of various fora and fauna. Seduced by one of the patron's daughters and assisted by the other, he is torn between lustful love and intelligent affection.
Which will he choose? Watch and see.
