I think I'm at a loss for words here. This movie was beyond incredible. About halfway through, I didn't know how much more I could watch without feeling sick to my stomach because of how Sylvia (Ellen Page) was treated.
Speaking of Ellen Page, she was absolutely amazing in this film (so far every movie she's been in I thought she was amazing). Gertrude (Catherine Keener) will probably go down as one of the most evil antagonists I've seen in a film in a long, long time.
Overall, this film was incredible powerful, and is definitely hard to watch, but that's what makes this movie so powerful. I highly recommend this film, it was truly outstanding.
