I saw this terrific film on opening night in New York. It is a remarkably smart, funny, and warm romantic story set within the context of big themes: the disaffection of troops returning from overseas, immigration, xenophobia, financial corruption.
Yet within and among these turbulent themes, humor and love still prevail. If you see American Sniper, you should see this too.
